An Ordinary Vacation Day

In this post, I'm going to describe how I spend my day:

I wake up at around seven fifteen. Then, I spend forty-five minutes thinking profoundly (read: thinking profoundly here means thinking about what to do today). finally get out of the bed and (rarely) fold my sheets neatly. Then, I take out my iPod and earphones, draw the curtains of the kitchen and dance for a while (dancing means running about, imagining that I'm singing in front of a large audience).

Then grandmother comes and yells at me for listening to music with the volume up so loud. She then goes on lamenting that I'm a hopeless case and I'll suffer later on by working like a maid (My condition will be like a character from an soap opera, my grandfather adds).
My mom leaves for her office and gives me a lot of hugs and endearing words (the opposite of which I'll hear later in the evening. But I don't blame her. She really does get tired after working all day).

After she leaves, I switch on the computer and check all the basic, necessary stuff: my email, blog stats and Facebook (this is when my account is active). I  type out my novel for a while (which is NEVER going to see the light of the day).

So, after doing this, I take my bath and cycle downstairs for a while. Then I come back and read newspapers (what's going on all around the world, the entertainment magazines, etc). Then I call one of my best friends and the both of us gossip for a while 'til my grandfather comes and yells his head off at me.
I also draw, try to do something funky and creative but the results are as good as a disaster. It's the afternoon now. I have my lunch and drift off to sleep. Or else, my grandmother tells me all about relatives, old friends, old neighbours and all about old days. I, in turn, tell her about the nutcases I came across when I was in school. Then my grandmother sighs, saying, Such is life.
At four, I wake up (if I was asleep) and my grandmother gives me a cup of tea. Then I go downstairs and cycle again for half-an-hour.

Coming back, I fix myself in front of the computer. If my cousins or my best friend are online, then we chat for a while.
Then my mom arrives, feeling really tired. I always hope for an ice cream when she comes back.
I read for a while and dance again to the tunes of my iPod. In the meanwhile, my mom talks to my dad and my grandfather talks to his son i.e. my uncle, and my grandmother's
Finally, after some reading, some dancing, some playing games, some munching later, I go back to sleep.
Well, that's what I do all day.
